Beautiful set of two Iris and Herringbone 2 light candlestick holders. This lovely pattern was issued in crystal (clear) by Jeannette Glass in 1928 and production continued throughout the depression years. After the war the pattern was reissued with an iridescent finish. The reason for the name of this pattern is evident in the center design, and the Iris is repeated an additional four times around the base. Although there appear to be a lot of bubbles in the photographs in person they aren't visible at all unless you put the piece under a direct light and look very, very closely. Standing 5 ¼” tall and 6” from arm to arm, these candlesticks are in excellent condition.
