Gorgeous Florentine Gold bone china cup and saucer set by Wedgwood. This Peony shape cup features a wide border of gold griffins or dragons, mythical birds and surreal foliage on a pure white background. Florentine Gold was produced from 1962 until 1985 at which time the pattern was discontinued. The cup measures 4” by 2.25” and the saucer is 5.75” across. This exquisite set is certainly in keeping with Wedgwood’s reputation as England’s finest china company. Excellent condition: No chips, cracks, dings or fleabites. No stains, no wear to the gold. Perfect!
