MacBeth Evans Petalware Clear Platter Plate Salver Depression Glass Beautiful Petalware salver plate in clear Depression glass from MacBeth Evans. Simply beautiful and beautifully simple, this large plate is from one of MacBeth-Evans’ most popular patterns, Petalware, however instead of the Monax or white that is usually seen, this is the clear version. This lovely salver has a delicately scalloped edge and a subtle diamond design. An unusual feature of the clear plate is the pattern of circles in the center. Although the white plate has this feature, it can't be seen from the front because of the opaque glass. Made between 1930 and 1950, this platter measures 10.5 inches across. In very good condition with only normal use marks. |
