This tiny lighter was just the thing for a lady to slip into her purse along with her cigarettes back in the day when smoking was fashionable. Only 1 3/4" long, 1 1/4" tall and 5/8" wide with 7 little tiles across one side alternating between light and dark Mother of Pearl. This lighter is in good condition, I believe the flint is missing, the wick looks new and the lighter striking mechanism operates easily. There is some scuffing of the metal and the chrome needs an additional cleaning. I didn't want to over clean this piece, so I will leave that to the collector. The mother of pearl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Marked Globe, Japan on the bottom.
