This beautiful Diamond and Rib carnival glass vase is from Fenton Art Glass Company circa 1907 – 1910. The diamond shapes between the ribs were actually ovals prior to the vase being swung, and will appear as ovals in pieces that have not been swung. A gorgeous iridescent gold this color, called Marigold, shimmers with gold, blue and purple tones. Standing 11 inches tall on a 3.5 inch base this lovely piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. The finish is in excellent condition, any marks are from reflections or water droplets that I missed after I rinsed and dried this vase. There are a number of bubbles in the glass, especially at the mouth of the vase, as is typical of swung vases of this period.
