This beautiful Diamond and Rib carnival glass vase is from Fenton Art Glass Company circa 1907 – 1910. The diamond shapes between the ribs were actually ovals prior to the vase being swung, and will appear as ovals in pieces that have not been swung. A gorgeous iridescent gold this color, called Marigold, shimmers with gold, blue and purple tones. Standing 11” tall on a 3.5” base this lovely piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. The finish is in excellent condition, any marks are from reflections or water droplets that I missed after I rinsed and dried this vase. There are a number of bubbles in the glass, especially at the mouth of the vase, as is typical of swung vases of this period.
