Gorgeous but elusive, this Fenton mayonnaise set is one of the more difficult items to find. This lovely set was made sometime between 1958 and 1973 as it is the pure white glass formula and is unmarked. Silver Crest, one of Fenton's most popular patterns, was first made in 1943 and some pieces are still in production.  It is said that every time Fenton has discontinued this pattern, demand and or financial matters persuade them to re-create some pieces.    Standing 3" tall with the bowl on the liner, this set is in excellent condition.  The bowl and plate are perfect!  The only small flaws are two teenie tiny nicks on the glass spoon which are discernable if one runs a fingernail around the edge of the bowl. Really lovely!
